For every day of the tour you have to pay 1.200 SEK per dogteam and day, food and lodging not included. Prices for the overnight stays food during the tour depend on the vary location. Your 'homebase' the nights before and after the tour will be at Valdalen (incl. half-board).

Lodging
- Valdalen (400 SEK / half-board)
Valdalen is a typical Scandinavian style farm situated directly on the edge of the high-mountains, app. 15 km away from Grövelsjön Fjällstation where we usually start and end our tours. Usually our guests stay at Valdalen the night before and after the tour and mostly the first day of the tour itself. In Valdalen you can also store your spare luggage for the time of the tour.
- Svukuriset (120 SEK / no food)
Svukuriset is a self-service Norwegian Fjällstation overlooking the southern part of lake Femund. As there is no service/food available at Svukuriset you may carry on a food-package from Valdalen for 250 SEK p.p.
- Langen (400 SEK / half-board)
Langen Gjestegard is a traditional Norwegian mountain-hotel, lovely situated between the northern shores of lake Femund and Röros. It is well known for its warm and cosy atmosphere, excellent homemade food and, of course, 'luxury things' like a shower and a warm and soft bed.
- Kärringsjön (400 SEK / half-board)
Kärringssjön is a swedish guesthouse on the edge of Rogen-Naturreservat. At Kärringsjön you may enjoy the unique feeling of sitting in an outdoor-jacuzi in deep freezing temperatures amidst mountains of snow.
- Hävlingen (200 SEK / no food)
Hävlingen Vandrarhem is a nice and well-equipped self-service mountain hut at Hävlingen's fishing camp, which is usually abandoned during main winter. Every musher has to carry on his/her own food which can be prepared at the gas-stoves inside the hut.
Starting end of january/beginning of february there is a traditional style sauna available in Hävlingen (30 SEK p.p.) - and for cooling down you dive into the cold waters of the lake through a hole in the ice.
